Grace Dieu Manor School, Leicestershire
The Brief:
A site of approximately 27 hectares and the grounds of a former school, with an existing nursery, swimming pool, sports hall and tennis courts, in addition to a Grade II listed church. The client’s intention was to develop the site into an international football academy, proposing a gym, modern changing rooms, student accommodation, and international football pitches. Existing pitches were to be resurfaced and modernised, a Tudor style lake and reinstatement of historic tree lines with consideration for the environmental and historic context of the site.
